Tuned up the bikes and took them for a spin.
Cleaned up the yard and trimmed a few of my favorite flower plants. in preparation for a season full of sunshine and fresh blooms.
Ate ice cream outside while taking in some much-needed Vitamin C.
Went to church and filled our hearts with words that God intended for us to hear.
Drew silly pictures on our patio with chalk, only to listen to the thunderstorm wash them away.
Celebrated a birthday with sweet friends.
Prepared ourselves to take on the week ahead (and snuc in a little Netflix and puppy snuggles to the mix)

I love every season, but I am always so thankful for spring. After a winter of bitter cold and sometimes feeling stuck inside, I always love turning my face towards the sun and welcome spring and everything it represents in my life with open arms.

One of the things I love about spring is the shedding of layers. I can finally wear a dress without tights, boots and a coat! There is nothing quite like a dress that is comfy but still makes a statement.

A few weeks ago, LOFT announced they were releasing a new exclusive collection for girls (cue Kalyn freak-out and jump around the room). Not only that…BUT…this collection would MATCH women’s pieces that they were carrying! Ahhhh!

Naturally, I had to get my hands on this new collection and it does not disappoint. The fabrics are beautiful. The prints are classic but standouts and oh-so-perfect for spring! It was truly so hard for me to pick which Mommy and Me outfit from LOFT that I would share with you for this blog post!

I finally decided on these light and flowy polka dot swing dresses for us, but LOFT also has a gingham jumpsuit, floral jumpsuit and the prettiest white lace dress for little girls right now. All of these pieces have matching jumpsuits/dresses for mom too!
