Three Fall Trends with Chicwish
Happy Thursday, Lovelies!
Ahhhh! The first official FALL BLOG POST is here! Although the weather sure doesn’t feel like fall yet here in PA, I am so ready to break out all the fun fall fashion!
To get the kick-off the new season, I thought I would share THREE fall fashion trends that I am loving this year, and how to make these trends work in “real life”.
Three Fall Fashion Trends:
Fall Florals:
Wearing a great floral print is an easy way to transition from summer to fall fashion. In the picture above, I opted for rich hues like burgundy and spruce green that are on-trend for fall. The Chicwish skirt I am wearing has a muted pink background and I love a great dusty pink or neutral color paired with a rich jewel-tone color. It really makes the fall colors pop. Don’t ya think!?
I paired the skirt with this adorable sweater from Chicwish. I love the mesh sleeves and color detail!
Shiny Satin:
You will see lots of “shiny” textures and fabrics pop-up as we head towards fall. Think metallics, velvets, leathers, and SATIN. I love the color and texture of this dress from Chicwish. The teal green is one of my favorite jewel-tone fall colors. The satin material of this dress is thick but not itchy or hot. I love how flowy it is. It’s perfect for a date night or any holiday parties that might be on the horizon.
Mustard Yellow & Gold Hues:
I love a fun pop of fall color. There isn’t much better than a burnt orange or mustard yellow piece to really take an outfit up to the next level. As a stylist, I have lots of clients that due to their skin tone or hair color, cannot wear a color like this close to their face. Instead, I will style a fun skirt, accessory or pair of shoes in that color so they can enjoy this fun trend but still look fabulous.
In the picture above, I paired the neutral blouse with the mustard yellow lace skirt (both from Chicwish) to create a colorful fall look. I added another fall trend, leopard print, to complete the outfit.
The colors and silhouettes of each of these outfits have me so ready for fall. The teal green dress from Chicwish might even end up being what I wear for our family Christmas card pictures this year!
The mustard yellow color combined with the lace makes this skirt from Chicwish a new favorite of mine!
I hope this post inspires a few fall outfits and get you excited for all the FALL THINGS!
xoxo,
Kalyn
