Ten Mommy and Me Outfit Ideas for Mother’s Day

If you’ve followed along for a while, you know that I LIVE for ‘Mommy and Me’ matching outfits. There’s a quote that’s been floating around the internet for years now that states, “Money can’t buy you happiness but it can buy you baby clothes and that’s basically the same thing”.

In all realness, is there anything cuter than a mini-sized piece of clothing? Take an ordinary pair of sneakers. Shrink them, put them on a cute kiddo and their appeal increases by 100%.

With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, I wanted to share my favorite spring ‘Mommy and Me’ matching outfits that Lilly and I have worn to send a little inspiration your way.

One of my favorite brands that makes ‘Mommy and Me’ matching prints is Lilly Pulitzer. They have a variety of different prints and styles to chose from. I’ll always be a sucker for pretty matching prints in bright colors.

I took this picture with a self-timer a little over a year ago and it’s still one of my favorites. My favorite rain boots are Hunter and Joules. They both make matching colors so you can twin with your mini!

Keep your matching simple with a classic button-down shirt, jeans and an easy-to-match pair of flats. I was daring and let Lilly don a pair of white jeans in this picture.

Here is a similar look. This time we are twinning in a matching gingham print but still keep it simple with blush pink jeans and our favorite Sperry boat shoes.

When life gives you lemons, turn them into the cutest printed dresses. If you look closely you will see that Lilly also has lemons in her purse…

Here I found similar dresses and brought our matching outfits together with gingham printed shoes and matching sunglasses.

Overall, this might be my favorite ‘Mommy and Me’ matching outfits of the group (get it!? not that punny).

I couldn’t believe they made a little blazer in Lilly’s size. Our shoes also are almost identical and are a STEAL of a price.

Speaking of a STEAL…these easy, striped t-shirt dresses are a great price right now and can easily be dressed down with sneakers or worn with a cute pair sandals or wedges.

Our final look includes scalloped detailing. A cute classic!
