Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is a short few days away, but I am sure there are quite a few kids and dads out there searching for a gift for the special moms, aunts, grandmas, and wives in their lives. Around this time of year, I often reflect on memories with the amazing women who helped raise me. I remember learning to sew with my Great Grandma Hazel, feeding the chickens (and never being allowed to help carry the feed buckets that were bigger than her) with my Great Grandma Lena, baking pie and watering petunias with my Grandma Sandy, the way my mom’s perfume smelled when she first sprayed it before work, the way our house felt like the most glorious place to collapse and rest after a long day of school. Moms are the glue that hold the day-to-day together. I so often think about the women in my life, and how they so deeply rooted and grew me into the woman/mom I am today.

When creating my Mother’s Day Gift Guide, I thought of each piece with intention. I think it’s important to honor the women in your life in a way that will make them feel how special they are to you. This guide is filled with curated pieces for every lovely lady on your list.

Mother’s Day Gift Guide:

  • For the Mom with a Green Thumb: A gorgeous planter filled with her favorite potted flowers is always a win. I love this gorgeous blue and white striped planter from Ballard Designs.
  • For the Sentimental Mom: I would say that I often fall into this category. There is nothing better than a framed picture of a sweet memory in my books. I love these gorgeous printed frames from Mark and Graham that were part of their Sanderson collab. The colorways and prints are gorgeous and easy to mix and match.
  • For the Active Mom: A cute printed pickleball paddle is always a good idea. Especially if combined with a date night for tacos and margaritas after. I love the prints that Tangerine Paddle creates.
  • For the Homemaker: This mom loves the simple luxuries in life like a plush, personalized towel after a shower. No one does gorgeous, luxe, personalized towels and accessories like Weezie.
  • For the Mom with the Never Ending To-Do List: Day Designer’s Daily Planner is the only reason I can keep things (sort of) running smoothly at our house. Working from home, with kids in two different schools, different activities, and fifty different apps and ways to correspond with said activities and schools gives me a headache (but why are there fifty apps). The only way I can keep it all straight is using these beautiful planners religiously.
  • For the Homebody Mom: Two of my favorite parts of a slow Saturday morning (other than it being slow and Saturday) is that first sip of coffee while wearing my buttery soft LAKE Pajamas covered in a cozy Chappywrap blanket. Chappywrap blankets are my family’s favorites, and you won’t enter a room in our house that doesn’t have one or two draped across a couch or bed.
  • For The Classic Mom: A chic pair of Krewe sunglasses or this gorgeous J.Lowery belt bag.
  • For the Monogram Mom: A personalized bracelet like the Names For Good bracelets or this beautiful personalized ring from Hope & Celebrate. You could also complete this gift with a gorgeous jewelry dish or box like this Sanderson one from Mark and Graham or the Kravet x Pottery Barn collection jewelry trinket.
  • For the Jet Setting Mom: A beautiful cosmetic bag, like this personalized one from Beth Ladd Collections, or a fun Lorna Murray packable hat will make any travel-loving mom happy! I also use my Lorna Murray hat when I am outside gardening in the summer!
  • For the Entertaining Mom: For the mom who is the hostess with the mostest, Estelle colored wine glasses in her favorite color will do the trick!
  • For The Mom on the Go: A great canvas tote that fits all the things is the perfect find. I love this gorgeous block print one from Renwick Sport.

I hope this guide helps you find the perfect Mother’s Day gift for your special moms, and the lovely ladies who make the world a sweeter place.
