Lilly’s Day at Magic Kingdom
Hello, Lovelies!
We are back from our great trip to the happiest place on earth. We started the trip off by setting sail on the Disney Fantasy cruise ship for a seven day cruise that took us to Tortola, St. Thomas and (Disney’s private island) Castaway Cay.
We followed our cruise up with days at Epcot and Magic Kingdom and a fun stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Lilly existed on a solid diet of Mickey-shaped waffles, macaroni and cheese, and Mickey ice cream bars the entirety of our trip (yes, mom of the year over here) and the day we were at Magic Kingdom, insisted on riding Dumbo and It’s a Small World THREE times a piece.
Ironically, those were my favorite rides as a child and I somehow think this is payback for the countless times I made my parents repetitively endure them.
When I was planning for our magical trip to Disney, I came across the cutest Disney parks inspired dress. The novelty print of it includes all of the crowd favorite things ranging from Mickey ice cream bars to Cinderella’s glass slipper. Given that it was under $20, I (of course) had to buy it for Lilly.
Fast forward to our trip. As our day at Magic Kingdom came to an end, Lilly and I celebrated with a Mickey ice cream bar, a third spin on Dumbo, and a mini photoshoot to commemorate an amazing vacation with my favorite Disney princess, who isn’t so little anymore.
Over the weekend I will be working on a few blog posts sharing everything I learned and loved throughout our trip and will be sharing tips on both the Disney Cruise and the Disney World parks.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these pictures of one of the (as Rapunzel would say) best days ever.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
xoxo,
Kalyn
