Coffee With Kalyn:
Happy Monday, Lovelies!
I hope your week is off to a great start! Between our recent trip to New England and our favorite fall festival held in our hometown, I feel like October is flying by.
When I was working on this “Coffee with Kalyn” post, I knew I wanted to share my favorite new coffee spot with you all, the upper terrace of the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH.
I woke up super early the morning we were in New Hampshire to watch the sunrise over the fall foliage with a hot cup of coffee in hand. I am not sure if it was the color bursting forth from the trees, the sunrise peeking through the fog, or the fact that I actually got to drink my coffee while it was hot without any of the demands a typical morning entails, but it was pure magic.
As a total side note, while writing the first two paragraphs of this post, I have been interrupted five times by a family member. I am not sharing this to complain, but I think sometimes a trip away can be inspiring in so many ways.
For me, it gives me the chance to actually think, reflect and appreciate. As a busy mom, it isn’t often that I have the opportunity to do any of the above.
So my challenge to you all this week is to make time for YOU. Whether it’s a fitness class, a hobby you love or planning a weekend getaway. Do something that makes you happy. I am a firm believer that when you make small amounts of time for the things you love, it reflects directly in all of your relationships.
