Hi, Lovelies!
It has been a hot minute since I have popped up on the blog. Lane is officially six weeks old, so I am slowly getting into the swing of working from home/running my own business while giving him (and Lilly) my undivided attention. If you are a parent, you get it. The work/family balance is always a struggle.
My goal is to get back to writing a few blog posts a week in addition to sharing on my social media channels. Once a week, I thought it would be a good idea to share one of my “Baby Product Favorites” with you. I remember being pregnant for the first time, and feeling completely overwhelmed with the number of baby products there were and the research time that went into making each purchase for baby. So, my goal with these blog posts is to help you discern what products will work well for you, your baby, and the lifestyle you hope your family to have.
I thought I would kick things off by sharing one of the baby products I have used pretty much daily since Lane was born: the Ergobaby Omni Breeze Infant Carrier. Lane loves to be close to me, just like any newborn wants to be close to their mom. As a mom of two, I am constantly having to keep up with my active older daughter, while managing a newborn…so instead of feeling like I am torn in two different directions, I simply strap Lane into the Ergobaby Omni Breeze Infant Carrier, and away we go.
I use the Omni Breeze Carrier for EVERYTHING. If Lane is fussy and needs to be held, I will put him in the carrier and he just travels around the house with me. We fold laundry together, do the dishes, you name it. I love that the carrier allows Lane to feel close to me, and frees up my hands so I can accomplish a few things throughout the day.
My family also goes for daily evening walks around our neighborhood.
