Family Fall Bucket List: Apple Orchards
( Lilly’s Outfit: Dress, Boots, Jacket, Scarf // My Outfit: Dress, Boots, Jacket, Scarf, Sunnies)
I am not going to lie, I often dread the winters here in Pennsylvania. I start to feel cooped up in mid-December, and made a pact with myself early on that, if it’s nice outside, I need to make it a priority to spend at least part of the day enjoying the gorgeous weather. Today was not one of those days. It was rainy and just plain cold, but for some reason, I didn’t mind it so much today.

Sometimes I just need a simple day at home with my family to recharge for the next week. Lilly took the longest nap of her life today (much needed I might add), so Alex and I took advantage and started binge watching Stranger Things on Netflix while roasting pumpkin seeds.
We finally made it to season two, so I am writing this post quickly because I MUST know what happens next!
Last weekend, we went for a drive to see the gorgeous fall foliage before the leaves fall. We headed out towards Bedford and took a pitstop at Boyer Orchards in New Paris, PA. Although you can’t pick the apples right from the trees they have one of the best selections of apples and other fall produce I have seen. I don’t know if I have ever had a better granny smith apple in my life.
They also have a few small fall activities perfect for the kiddos, and Lilly was really bummed when we had to leave.
Here are a few of our other favorite Fall Farmer’s Markets and orchards:
Some of these orchards have apples all the way until December, so there is still time to go pick some fall produce!
I’m out, for now, time to continue my Netflix binge!
Happy Sunday! Have a great week!
xoxo,
Kalyn
