100+ Easter Basket Stuffer Ideas
Can you believe that Easter is exactly a month away? Spring definitely snuck up on me this year, but I made it my mission this week to work on Easter content and thought I would share my tried and true Easter Basket Stuffer Ideas with you (that don’t involve candy).
Sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin when thinking about Easter Basket Stuffers. I hope this post makes preparing for Easter a little bit easier and gives you some great inspiration when deciding what to stuff your little one’s Easter baskets with.
To make this post easy to read and go through, I have created several easy sections for you to scroll through!
Easter Basket Stuffer Ideas:
Preparing Their Hearts for Jesus:
Just like any holiday, I think it is easy to forget about the true reason to celebrate. For my family, loving and knowing Jesus is our top priority. That’s why leading up to Easter, I make it a point to spend time each day sharing about the Easter story and Jesus’ love during lent. I love the Resurrection Eggs because they share the Easter Story in a way that’s easy to understand for younger children
Books:
I always include a great Easter book in my daughter’s Easter basket. We are huge fans of The Berenstain Bear Books and love the one about the Easter Story. We also love reading Peter Rabbit and all of the “How to Catch” books.
Small Toys:
- Lilly always loves getting wind-up chicks and nesting eggs in her basket.
- I found a really cute pair of pajamas with a matching doll set
- You can never go wrong with small toys like Hatchimals
Outside Play:
With the weather finally getting nice, I always use Easter Baskets as a great way to include some fun “outside play” toys like…
- Chalk: in the past, I have bought my daughter the egg-shaped chalk but this year, I bought her the cute unicorn horn chalk.
- Fairy Gardens are such a cute idea to add to an Easter basket
- I found the cutest Peeps bubbles!
Special Keepsakes:
- I always buy Lilly a ceramic egg from this Etsy shop with her name and the year it is.
- A cross necklace is always a special thing to add to your little one’s Easter basket.
- I still have my Benjamin Bunny set from when I was little.
Stuffed Animals:
- I always make a stuffed bunny the “anchor piece” of Lilly’s Easter basket. You can’t go wrong with a soft Jellycat Bunny. I love this sweet bunny set that comes in a little suitcase.
- I always add fun stuffed animal like this crazy chick.
Accessories:
I always add a cute pair of bunny ears to Lilly’s Easter Basket. I love this floral pair and the sparkly pair!
I found the cutest gingham bunny purse for Lilly last year, so I was on a mission to find some cute ones this year. I love the woven one and the cute faux fur one.
It’s always fun to add some cute jewelry to your little one’s Easter Basket. I found some really cute bunny bracelets and necklaces!
There are so many great spring-inspired hair accessories right now. I always add a grosgrain hair bow to Lilly’s basket but I love these barrettes and these bunny clips too.
With summer around the corner, it’s the perfect time to add summer accessories like a great pair of sunglasses to your little ones’ Easter basket.
I always add a great pair of spring/summer shoes to Lilly’s basket. I love these purple waterproof sneakers and these cute flats. I also found these fun Charm-It charms to add to sneakers.
Pajamas:
SomeBUNNY needs a new pair of pajamas in their basket!
Summer and Swim:
As I mentioned above, now is the perfect time to add some summer essentials to your little one’s wardrobe. I always add a swimsuit and cover-up and a fun pair of goggles to Lilly’s basket for her to use all summer long.
Bath & Beauty:
Lilly is already hoping for Easter Egg bath bombs this year! I found these for her last year. They are so fun and have a small toy inside each one. I also found these adorable peep soaps and a bunny hooded towel that would be perfect additions to Easter baskets.
