First Day of Fall

Happy Fall Y’all!

The first day of fall wouldn’t be complete without a blog post with some of the biggest pumpkins I’ve ever seen!

I am not sure who loves fall more, me or my husband. I would say it’s too close to call. One thing that our little family created together is lots of special traditions for each season. Fall is filled with some of our favorites.

Alex and I started taking a fall weekend trip last year and I can’t wait to share where we will be headed next week, but Pennsylvania is filled with some of the prettiest fall scenes, pumpkin patches, apple orchards, and we just love exploring everything PA has to offer in the fall.

Last weekend, we headed out to Patton, PA to one of the cutest pumpkin patches I have ever laid eyes on; complete with a pumpkin house, corn box, and some of the biggest pumpkins we have ever seen.

If you know my husband, you know that if you send him out for shampoo, he is coming home with the 99 cent special, but there are occasions where his frugality takes a brief intermission and he just can’t resist.

I am here to tell you that we are the proud owners of one of the biggest pumpkins in PA thanks to my husband’s fall obsession and the wonderful people at Smithmyer’s. They have a sunflower maze in the summer you can adventure through too, so be sure to like them on Facebook and follow along!

Lilly and my adorable ‘Mommy and Me’ cardigans are from Chicwish. They come in several colors that I have linked below and are just so darn cute for fall. I just adore Chicwish and the outfits I have been able to create with their beautiful and affordable pieces.
