Twinning in Chicwish

Hi, Lovelies!

I hope you all had a lovely Monday. It rained most of the day here in PA which was actually a blessing because I had so much to catch up on. I always feel so guilty if I don’t spend as much time as possible outside with Lilly when it’s nice out in the summer, so today’s rain was much needed.

This weekend we had a lot of fun mixed into me finishing up a few major blog projects. One of the not so glamorous parts of blogging is taking pictures of “next season” pieces in the middle of a heatwave (although I will take a heatwave over shooting spring pieces in a snowstorm ANYDAY).

I was so thankful to get OUT of my fall clothes and into these fun and flowy Mommy and Me dresses from CHICWISH.

The second Lilly put on her dress she said, “Oooohhhh Momma I can TWIRL in this dress!”.

…and twirl we did indeed! The other day I discovered something funny about Lilly: when she feels GREAT in an outfit, it totally shows in the pictures we take.

The kissy face comes out and she rocks the look with the whole three feet that she is.

That’s one of the things I love about clothes. I think that when you feel great in what you are wearing/how you look, you spend less time worrying about yourself and MORE time focusing on other people and their needs.

I have been loving the brand Chicwish this summer. They don’t predominantly carry Mommy and Me clothing but I was so thrilled to find these adorable rainbow-striped matching maxi dresses on their site.
