Easter Basket Stuffer Ideas
Hi, Lovelies!
With Easter coming later this year, I have been procrastinating the decorating (still have our winter wreaths up), the Easter bunny-ing, and the finding of those ever so special Easter outfits. But I wrote it on my to-do list to knock a few of these fun errands out of the way this week, and have been on a mission to find the best of the best Easter basket stuffers! I thought I would share my findings with you all to maybe help you cut down on the time and “brain space” of figuring out what to stuff those baskets with.
I have created several categories (and a section for babies) that will help you add a fun variety to your little ones’ baskets and bring extra joy to Easter Sunday.
Stuffed Animals:
I always start with an anchor (center) piece for Lilly’s Easter basket, and usually it’s a sweet stuffed animal. I try to find an Easter-related stuffed animal like a bunny or a chick or a lamb! Here are my favorite selections for this year below:
Small Toys:
I love adding small little toys to the mix. Lilly loves Hatchimals so I will for sure be adding a few of those. I also am loving the Little Live Pets hatching bird that
- Peeps Bubble Chicks: I mean, does it get any cuter than bubbles that look like a delicious Peep Marshmallow?
- Egg Shaped Sidewalk Chalk: Perfect for the season changing and finally being able to play outside.
- Egg Stampers: The perfect little fun addition to a basket. The stamps are in the shape of the egg and open up to Easter-inspired designs.
- Easter Play-doh: There are two adorable options, Easter egg-shaped ones or a chick and a bunny set that have cute stampers on the bottom!
- Wind-up Chick: Maybe it’s nostalgia from my childhood but I feel like an Easter basket is not complete without one!
- Nesting Easter Eggs: Lilly loves nesting dolls and I think these are such a sweet option for little ones’ baskets.
Accessories:
This might be my favorite category because I have found some of the cutest spring and Easter accessories for your little ones! From bags to special necklaces to bows, I’ve got you covered.
- Cross Necklace: I love finding a special necklace for Lilly to wear on Easter. I hope it’s something she cherishes as she grows up.
- Bunny Purse: There are so many cute ones out there this year. My personal favorite is this gingham bunny purse, but I know Lilly would die for this sparkly bunny purse!
- Bunny Ears Headband: I think these are so darling and a fun way to swap out the bow headband for the occasion!
- Bunny or Spring Shoes: I love these sweet bunny sandals, and these gold bunny flats would be perfect for Easter. For a more casual look, try these lilac bunny slip-on sneakers.
- Hair Accessories: I love this adorable Easter egg bow, and how cute are the bunny ear barrettes or the pack of Easter clips?
Pajamas and Swimwear:
I love finding a cute bunny printed pair of pajamas for Lilly. My absolute favorite this year is from Smocked Auctions. You can get them personalized for your little one which is so sweet. I also always add a swimsuit to Lilly’s basket that she can wear all summer long!
Books:
I LOVE adding a cute Easter-inspired book. Go for a classic book like Peter Rabbit. Help your child learn more about Jesus through The Easter Story...oh…and not a book, but I am totally giving Lilly the new Mary Poppins movie!
Bath & Beauty:
Lilly has been LOVING bath bombs, and I found these adorable egg-shaped ones the other day. I also love these Peep Bunny water-based nail polishes that SMELL LIKE PEEPS MARSHMALLOWS!
Special Keepsakes:
- Cross Necklace: I know I listed this above but this is such a special piece to place in a basket.
- Personalized Ceramic Egg: These are so sweet, and a great special way to decorate your house as they are collected over the years.
- Special Dishes: I still have a Beatriz Potter plate set from when I was a little girl, so naturally I thought these were just perfect.
- A Special Blanket or Towel: Like this sweet lamb towel from
Lilyseed .
Baby:
A baby’s first Easter is a special one. Here are a few of my favorite picks for the occasion.
- My First Easter Play Set: This set is so sweet. It is
great sensory toy too! - Lilly X PB Swaddle Set: Lilly loved being swaddled to sleep as an infant. These adorable Lilly Pulitzer swaddles would be the perfect stuffer for a baby’s basket.
- Musical Eggs: Lilly took a music class as an infant that had these super fun shaker eggs at the class. Any baby or toddler will love these fun shaker eggs!
- Color and Eggs Play Set: Perfect for starting to teach your baby their colors and words!
- Bunny Pull Along Toy: Perfect for starting to work on gross motor skills. Plus simply adorable.
Baskets:
Of course I had to include some cute Easter baskets to finish off the list!
I hope this helps you be the best Easter bunny ever! Happy early Spring from me and my bunnies, to you and yours!
xoxo,
Kalyn
