Mommy and Me Outfits: Gingham & Sperrys
Something I have always been a total nerd about is fashion history. Specifically the stories behind how some of my favorite brands were founded and their roads to success. One of my favorite stories is that of Sperry Top-sider. You can read a bit more about it here, but in short, Paul Sperry needed a slip-proof sole that would allow him to stand firm when sailing. Not only did Sperry create a shoe with great traction, but he created one of the most comfortable shoes of all time.
What is cuter than a pair of boat shoes? A pair of boat shoes on a mini person. I love that Sperry still represents the same great quality as they did when they were founded. They are great everyday shoes, especially for the little ones who aren’t quite as nimble and quite a bit more clumsy than adults (unless you are me).

Another classic? Gingham printed shirts. They are the plaid of spring and are just as versatile as stripes.
Lilly and I styled our gingham with blush pink jeans that are a fun alternative staple to white denim!
I hope your week is off to a great start, lovelies!
