Sweet Valentine's Day Finds - Style Her Strong

I have been watching the Olympics religiously since they started. How about women’s halfpipe last night!? I literally got chills watching Chloe Kim on her victory run. I always love the perspective and inspiration the Olympics give me and came to the realization last night that that is truly what they are all about; inspiring the countries of the athletes competing. Now to all my gym friends-watch out, I am on an inspired roll this week…ha…ha…ha!

That newfound gym inspiration didn’t stop me from taking Lilly to pick out a donut for Fat Tuesday as the sun peaked out over the mountains this morning. Life is all about balance, right? I can’t tell you how happy that small donut made my little girl today, and probably added to my gym motivation for the week.

On a different note: This week is crazy. Fat Tuesday today, Ash Wednesday and Valentine’s Day tomorrow?

With Valentine’s Day landing in the middle of the work week, I wanted to style a look that you can transition from work to a date night with ease. I am loving the red scalloped skirt. It would look adorable with a white eyelet blouse or a striped t-shirt as we head towards spring/summer!

If you are like me, you are scrambling today to find the last minute cards and small gifts for your loved ones, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite finds of the week that are perfect for Valentine’s Day gifts.

I don’t ever purchase perfume for myself. I usually wait until it’s gifted to me. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with purchasing a scent you love, or your special someone’s favorite scent as a small gift. My personal favorite is Ralph Lauren Romance.

The BP. bow slide flats come in six different colors. I love the nude color for spring.

I tend to wear subtle necklaces to balance my love of bold earrings. The love necklace is the perfect small gift to give!
