When I think of neutral colors I think grey, white, beige colors, black, navy, LEOPARD PRINT. I’m partially kidding, but this season, I have been crushing on leopard prints. I will be featuring a post on pattern/print mixing later on, but leopard prints are the perfect anchor when trying to create an outfit involving pattern mixing.
If that is too bold for your taste, leopard prints are also a fun way to add a neutral but fun pop to any classic look and is typically the way I style leopard prints. I tend to accessorize with leopard prints to add a subtle trend to a classic look.
For example, I love a good pair of leopard flats or heels. If you wish to be more daring, you can go for the leopard booties. I also think adding a leopard clutch or belt to a classic look is a great way to wear the trend. Yet if you want more of a dramatic look, you can layer on a faux fur leopard coat.
I love the contrast of leopard print with a bright red. The camel colored coat pairs perfectly with the leopard print. Leopard print can be paired with black or brown color palettes making it an easy print to add to any look.
I love the classic block heel and toe of these pumps. It keeps the leopard print as a nice, clean neutral.
Create a polished look by pairing this belt with a great pair of black trousers, or over a skirt.
This is under $50 and perfectly pairs with jeans for a casual look, or with your favorite solid colored dress.
