Style Trend | Embroidered Details

If I were to take a survey and ask each one of you what “style category” you would place embroidered details in, with certainty I believe most of you would say “boho”. Bell sleeves, embroidered details, flowing ruffled layers, all these clothing details were derived from a bohemian style.

I tend to dress more classic and girly myself and love a piece that transitions from season to season, year to year. However, I have found that there are ways to incorporate seasonal trends with classic pieces to allow them to be on-trend and simultaneously timeless.

As we transition into spring style, I am loving light blues with subtle navy embroidery or a white blouse with white embroidery. It’s the perfect way to give the trend a try without “going all out”.

If you do wish to try a more daring look, I think Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to do it. I am currently loving the embroidered floral trend. Especially when it’s an overlay on a dress.
