I was on the phone making an appointment today, glanced down at my calendar to see if it would fit into my schedule, and it hit me. October is almost over. I feel like this year has been a complete whirlwind for us. We have been on the wedding and baby shower circuit. Which is amazing because we have spent the past few months seeing long-distance friends, surrounding ourselves with so much love and celebrating the joys of life, but I feel like my to-do list is never-ending, and our schedule always seems to be full.
A friend of mine once shared a post on Facebook that wrote, “I wish I was a Pinterest mom, but really I’m just an Amazon Prime mom”. I feel like that has essentially been my life as of late, and sometimes I even have to pay for expedited shipping because I wait (forget) until the very last minute with things.
Halloween seems to be no different, and fingers crossed that Alex and my costumes make it here on time or else we might have a very disappointed Disney Princess on our hands.

One thing that Alex and I have made a priority this fall is to be present with Lilly when we aren’t working, and spend family time enjoying fall activities together! I am currently in the works of writing a family fall bucket list for you all, and will share little bits of it throughout the week until Halloween!
