Mommy and Me Outfits: New Year’s Eve

I am not even going to deny it. Monday came way too quickly this week. I woke up in a fog. Had one too many cups of coffee to start my day and couldn’t stand to even look at my overflowing to-do list.

When driving in the car to preschool, Lilly proclaimed, “Put on my song, mama!”. She has a few, so after clarifying which one, we spent our drive jamming out to Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) by Silento. Lilly calls it “Zip and Hey Hey”. Listening to that silly song with my giggling Lils put me in a stellar mood. I only have my daughter to thank for starting my Monday off right.

To get you through your midweek slump, I created two playlists for your enjoyment. One is Lilly’s favorite songs of the moment, and the second are songs that describe the immense love I have for her (get your tissue box out, a few are tear-jerkers).

I know we are all thinking about Christmas, and the holiday season right now, but New Year’s Eve is less than a month away. I always seem to forget about it until it’s the day of, then I am scrambling to find an outfit last minute. Lilly and I wanted to inspire you to get a head start on your NYE planning with these mommy and me outfits. They are 100% approved for twirling and dancing the night away.

“I hope you never lose your sense of wonder…”

“And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance “

I am currently loving muted pinks with metallic details. Lilly’s dress has tulle underneath and the cutest high low hem. It’s jacquard and has the prettiest pattern with metallic hues. I wish they made a fur collar sweater like hers in my size.

Both of our outfits are steals. My outfit in total is under $100. You can’t beat that!

Wishing you all a wonderful rest of your week! Play your favorite tunes, and break out some favorite dance moves. I promise it will instantly brighten your day.

xoxo,

Kalyn
