Hi, Lovelies!
After a month hiatus, I am back to my normal blog schedule. June was a crazy month for us. Lilly turned FOUR, she performed in her first dance recital, we had several long weekends out of town AND we picked up our PUPPY! Her name is Magnolia (called Maggie or more frequently Mags). Do you know what heaven is like? I am convinced that there is an abundance of little girl giggles and puppy licks waiting for us when it’s our time.
Maggie has been living it up. She already knows several basic commands (show-off), thinks every human WANTS to pet her, loves to dig up our yard, and will force you to rub her belly while nibbling on your fingers until she falls asleep. She also thinks that her dinner should consist of ice cream after we took her for her first cone this weekend (spoiled but cute…like her human sister).

She has been such a great addition to our family and a reminder to slow down. Because of Maggie, we now take a daily evening walk as a family that is the best part of my day.
I intentionally took June off from writing blog posts because I wanted to spend quality time completely unplugged with both Lilly and Mags. I slowed down and enjoyed summer with them. It was just the refresher I needed.
So what have we been up to?
Alex has been golfing every chance he can get which has allowed Lilly and I to spend most afternoons poolside once I finish work. Speaking of work: did you guys hear the news? Stitch Fix just launched Stitch Fix Kids! I am now a women’s and kid’s stylist and still have to pinch myself that I work for such a fun company!
Summer has been good to us and I am constantly reminded how blessed I am. I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine, vacations and allowing yourself time to slow down and refresh!
