Lilly’s Big Girl Room Reveal

Happy Monday!

I know I have been a little silent on the blog recently-but with good reason! I have been working on several exciting projects that I am excited to finally get to share with you!

This winter, Alex and I decided it was finally time to fully transition Lilly’s room from a nursery/toddler room to a “Big Girl” room. We started the process of looking for the perfect bed. Once we found the bed, then the mission was to find the perfect bedding.

I am a perfectionist. It’s a flaw and a blessing all in one, but I just couldn’t seem to find bedding that I was in love with.

That’s when the Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn line launched. The quilt set had the perfect colors to match the paint in Lilly’s room, and I already had tons of Lilly Pulitzer-inspired decorations throughout her room because let’s be honest…I am obsessed!

It was as if the stars aligned and the new line launched at the perfect time.

That’s when the real magic happened. Lilly Pulitzer contacted ME to see if I would showcase the Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn line on my blog! Pinch me!

Lilly and I are wearing the Home Slice print that Lilly Pulitzer launched in honor of their collaboration with Pottery Barn!

The Lilly Pulitzer framed dresses and monogram are both from Etsy shops.

I found Lilly’s grosgrain ribbon blackout curtains for a steal of a price on Wayfair!

We turned one corner of Lilly’s room into a little reading nook! Her wall bookshelf is from Target! I often find her “reading” books to herself during her daily quiet time.

Pillow fights are a must with Lils before bedtime! Her monogrammed Lilly Pulitzer inspired pillow is from the Etsy shop, My Pink and Green Garden.

Using Lilly Pulitzer and seersucker fabrics that were used as table runners for my wedding, the very talented Amy Henson, owner of The Fitting Room created the sweetest window seat cushion for Lilly’s room. I am so jealous of this perfect little daydreaming spot.

The pillows are also from the Etsy shop, My Pink and Green Garden. I actually bought them for my own apartment when I was in college! I love that I get to pass them down to Lilly!

A very special thanks to Mariah Fisher Photography for spending the time and taking these beautiful pictures.

You can find/follow her here:

Also a special thanks to Lilly Pulitzer for sending Lilly and me these adorable dresses, and to Pottery Barn for sending Lilly her quilt bedding set and Anywhere Chair!

Room Details:

Here are a few more room details from pictures that I took when I was putting all the finishing touches in place.

These picture frames were used to mark the table numbers at Alex and my wedding!

I hope this post brightens your day and gives you a little decorating inspiration! Be sure to check out the Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn collection that can be found on Pottery Barn Kids, PB Teen, and Pottery Barn!

xoxo,

Kalyn
