Get the Look for Less

Last week my family and I were in the car on our way home from visiting my in-laws. Lilly was asleep, and Alex and I got to talking about life ambitions. I mentioned that at one point in my life I might like a nice Chanel bag. I could see the daggers shooting out of his eyes before I could complete my sentence.

Alex is a saver. When I say, saver, I mean when I first started dating him he would eat a tuna packet and instant brown rice (costing in total a $1.10) for dinner every night because he didn’t want to spend money. Every purchase we make for our house or life is well researched, and you better believe the best deal around. It’s a quality that I appreciate about him, but I guarantee there will be no Chanel bag in my future (at least not from him).

This year I started working so we could put away the amount of money every year that Alex would like for us to while enjoying a bit of life with the additional income. It’s a tremendous blessing that we both have jobs that allow us to enjoy life, but we also still try to make each dollar stretch as far as we possibly can.

With that being said, what’s a fashionista to do when she wants to stay on-trend but within budget!? I’ve got you covered. I have found some great on-trend pieces that are “Designer Dupes” that work for any budget. One of the pieces is actually almost $2000 less than the designer version. I’ll let you guess which piece that is below.

I’ve made it easy for you to check out the deals by simply just clicking on the image I created below!

Here’s to staying fashionable this spring, without breaking the bank! Happy Saturday, lovelies!
